A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from game to game, so that skillful gamblers are agile enough to choose the most beneficial ones each and every time.

After the first round has finished, the player can either choose to stay on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that they may have won. Further, some styles of the game allow the gambler a chance to double their profits, in which case another game is played. There are also differences among individual games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
